Caring, sharing and assisting the hungry in Kenya,
Tax deductible
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Village Food Bank Foundation, Inc. programs, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me. I am the President/CEO of the stated non-profit organization. With the consent of the Board of Directors, I am seeking financial support for feeding and assisting an estimated 4,890 at-risk populations in Beltsville, Maryland in USA and a local Kenyan village. Five percent of the support covers Maryland activities while ninety five percent covers Kenyan activities.
We are seeking support because, the inflow of the budgeted operational funds in 2020 fell by 65 percent. We have been seriously impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic to a point whereby the farmers and market outlets that gave us regular support were unable to lender their expected support due limited production levels and delivery challenges. Furthermore, we lost 75 percent of our individual donors due layoffs and furloughs. Our target populations include; widows, widowers, single parents, orphans, the elderly, veterans, the disabled, the sick, the poor, the neglected, the homeless, the jobless, and the low in spirit.
We assist these populations without regard to color, creed, gender, sex orientation, national origin, age, disability, or religion.
We have been in operation since 2016 and intend to stay functional, effective, and accessible by those in urgent need and emergency support.
