Caring for COVID in partnership with WPBID

White Plains  resident Melissa Tomlin and Aubrey Graf-Daniels of Edgemont became inspired to start Caring for COVID one Friday evening in late March.  Wanting to help, but not really knowing where to start, Melissa and Aubrey came up with the idea to support local White Plains restaurants while simultaneously helping the people that are on the front line fighting this virus.

They started collecting donations that weekend and were able to secure their first delivery on 3/30 with Cantina in downtown White Plains, delivering over 100 meals to White Plains Hospital, Burke Rehabilitation, and Ferris Ave ambulance. News 12 covered it here 

In less than a month, they have raised over $25,000 in cash and donations and have been able to support many local restaurants in White Plains while feeding and donating supplies to our front line workers. With a proven grassroots track record, the White Plains Business Improvement District (White Plains BID) has now partnered with Caring for COVID to help raise funds for this cause. 

Furthermore, the White Plains BID has committed to matching YOUR gift 1:1  when invested back into local restaurants in the White Plains BID on behalf of Caring for COVID!
