Update: Madison successfully underwent brain surgery this past week and is in the hospital recovering.

Her doctors delivered the unimaginable news to her parents soon after. Madison has cancer. She will need aggressive chemotherapy over the next year. These treatments will require hospital stays and frequent visits to Sacramento. Please continue to support the Borges Family as they navigate this diagnosis. *original post: Help support my sister and her husband as they care for their 20 month old daughter having emergency brain surgery in Sacramento. Dan and Kim were in Sacramento for a doctors appointment for their daughter and the results of the appointment led doctors to make the decision to immediately operate. They will need to be in Sacramento at the hospital for at least a week for her to recover. They are also caring for her twin sister and their four year old.
