Car, roof, water

I am currently still appealing a renewal for social security disability so as that's unstable and under $800/month at best & we don't have any other money sources. My husband is currently applying for SSI as his multiple medical conditions prevent him from being able to work at the clerical and customer service jobs he's had for over 25 years. 

The water bill was paid & the car has been fixed so what remains is the roof.

$7,500 is the roofers written estimate for replacing the roof, rotten boards beneath the top section of the gambrel shaped roof and the clapboards that are likewise in need of replacement near said roof and our top floor windows.

Beyond that there are at least 2 floors and sections of ceilings with sizable damage from the falling water.
