Captain Bob's Memorial Service Contribution
Donation protected
Robert "Captain Bob" Weisman was an adventurous soul that had a passion for many things, whether it was serving his country in the United States Coast Guard, diving with Mickey Mouse in the Living Seas, Scuba diving the circumference of the United States, running several collegiate dive programs at Penn State, UF, and FIU, getting his 100 ton Captain license, and finally serving as a Security Officer for the VA Hospital in Gainesville, FL. Capt. Bob did so much with his time on earth, and left an impact on many of us, with his passion and infectious laugh. Bob always found a way to make things fun.
Robert Weisman passed away on April 25, 2021 from his 6-year battle with prostate cancer at the age of 67. This page is started to help the Weisman family with expenses towards his cremation, Eternal Reef Memorial, and Celebration of Life ceremony that will be held the weekend of June 12-13, 2021.
We appreciate everybody who has reached out and expressed their love for our beloved father and grandfather. We've received many requests from people that have wanted to contribute to Capt. Bob's legacy, and this would be a great way to memorialize his life. Any type of contribution to this account will be greatly appreciated by the Weisman family.
As Captain Bob would say, "Mahalo Nui Loa" or "BIOYA."
