My brother, Brandon, has already been through more than most people could imagine.
Background
In 2023, he underwent open-heart surgery to replace a valve and repair two aortic aneurysms. Then, on August 7th, 2025, he survived a heart attack and spent another week in the hospital recovering.
Afterward, he started limping — thinking it was just a pulled muscle or lingering injury. Weeks of pain, rest, ice, doctor visits, and home remedies did nothing to help. Then came the scans, the tests, and finally, the MRI.
On October 24th, we heard the words no family ever wants to hear: “It’s cancer.”
The pain wasn’t from an injury — it was from a large tumor that covers nearly a third of the muscles in his upper leg and wraps around the femur. It’s big, it’s aggressive, and it’s going to take everything to fight it.
The Road Ahead - initial treatment plan includes:
• A biopsy and PET scan
• 4–5 months of chemotherapy
• 40 sessions of radiation
• Surgery to remove the tumor, followed by a long and difficult recovery
❤️ How You Can Help
It’s a tough road — physically, emotionally, and financially. Asking for help isn’t easy. But right now, we need our village — our family, friends, and community — to lift Brandon, his wife, 3 kids & extended family up.
You can support in these ways:
1) Keep Brandon in your prayers and send encouragement for the fight ahead
2) Contribute financially — every amount, big or small, truly helps
3) In the future, we’ll share ways to help with meals, rides, and other support
Thank you for walking this journey with us — one day, one fight, one victory at a time.
