Camps International - Kenya Conservation Trip 2026

Hello Everybody. My name is Reuben Spivey, I am a 16 year old year 11 student, and I am asking for your help.

I have been offered a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to Kenya with Camps international in the summer of 2026. On this expedition I will be able to help with crucial conservation efforts in the local communities there, such as constructing new homes and school classrooms in struggling villages and protecting the amazing local wildlife. It has been a dream of mine since I was a child to travel the world and see the diverse natural beauty of our planet, by donating to my cause, you would be helping me achieve my dreams, while also helping struggling communities and endangered wildlife in Kenya.

This four week expedition across Kenya will teach me many valuable life lessons for my future. It will help me learn about the diverse cultures and climates of our planet, it will help develop crucial life skills such as basic construction, leadership, teamwork and independence skills. This expedition will even help me develop my CV to improve my chances with getting into top universities and getting better jobs in the future.

Due to the nature of the conservation work done on this expedition, such as equipment, staff, construction materials, medicine for animals and more, the cost of the trip is very high. As my family cannot afford to fund this trip, I am fundraising the money myself by:

• Using my own savings and pocket money

• Doing gardening and pressure washing

• Selling old unused belongings

• Organising Social Events

• Going on sponsored hikes

• And more
