I’m writing this as one of Callum’s friends, because what happened to him has left all of us completely devastated.

On his way to school, Callum was brutally attacked by a group of other children. What should have been a normal, everyday ride to school has instead turned into something that has changed his life and the lives of everyone who cares about him.

Callum has suffered skull fractures, broken glasses, permanent hearing loss and emotional trauma as a result of the attack.

Seeing someone so full of life go through something like this has been incredibly hard for all of us, and especially heartbreaking for his family.

His recovery is going to be long and difficult. Callum will need ongoing medical care, specialist appointments, monitoring, and support over the coming months as he heals both physically and emotionally from what he has been through.

Any donation, no matter how small, will go towards helping with essential living costs, lost income, travel to medical appointments, and the ongoing support Callum will need in the months ahead.
