Cakes Canceling Cancer

Baking and decorating cakes have been my passions for as long as I can remember. When I was younger I remember I would wait for my parents to come home so that I could surprise them with overly-sprinkled birthday cakes. Making cakes has always been something that just genuinely brought me joy. It is something that I could do day and night with no complaints. For example, I made the cakes in the profile picture last year for two of my friend’s sweet sixteens. Also, I made cake pops for kids at the mosque during Ramadan. As I got older, and the cakes weren’t as overly-sprinkled, I realized that I wanted to make a difference with my cakes. I don’t want to just keep making cakes without a cause, I want to start a non-profit called “Cakes Canceling Cancer” with which I will fundraise and work with organizations such as St. Jude's Children’s Hospital to achieve the common goal of helping kids battle cancer. I would also love to take orders for cakes for special occasions and donate all proceeds to this cause. 


As many of you know I recently turned 16, a very memorable event in my life. So I would love to start this journey here and make a memorable change in the lives of others. And so this year instead of any presents or gifts it would really mean a lot to me if you instead donate here for a cause close to my heart and help me achieve this goal.
