Every year, the people of Cahir come together to create something magical — a town filled with warmth, colour and festive spirit. Our Christmas lights are more than decorations… they are a symbol of community, pride, and the joy of seeing families gather in the Square, children racing to spot their favourite ornaments, and visitors stopping to admire the beauty of our heritage town glowing for the season.
But this year, we need your help.
Rising costs, repairs to aging fixtures, new safety requirements, and the need for additional lighting on Castle Street, the Mall, and the Square mean that our usual funding is simply not enough to deliver the display our town deserves.
