What a year it’s been for all us. Hardship. Crushed dreams. Sacrifice. We have all had to make adjustments to expectations, changes to plans, and shifts in our mindset in order to cope with the challenges of this past year.
But the seniors, the graduating class of Fuquay Varina High School, have proven to be resilient in the face of adversity. Unable to attend school. Unable to participate in sports and extracurricular activities. Unable to enjoy the rites of passage being a senior affords. Still, they showed up. Continued to grind. Continued to give academics their all. They showed us who they are.
Now, as things begin opening up, sacrifices continue to be made.
As parents, it is our ardent hope that you will join us in supporting our seniors in celebrating their strength, resilience, and sacrifice this year by making a donation to our parent-led prom initiative to be held on May 14th at The Pavillion Carriage House.
With your donation, we can ensure our students who have sacrificed so much already this year, will not have to pay to attend what should be a night they will remember the rest of their lives.
