Hi I'm sorry to be asking this of you but unfortunately I have to ask for financial help. I was laid off from my job 9 months ago and I have had to go to the hospital for tests due to my minor heart attack last year with addition to my health condition that I was born with, it's a rare condition that is called a Vascular Ring and the specialists and surgeons are afraid to operate on it. So it hasn't been easy finding a new job. I was denied disability benefits after fighting for it for a long time. I was also just denied anymore unemployment benefits that anyway went straight to my bank and I never got to use it.
I have a 6000 shekels debt on my bank account,and if I don't pay it soon it will keep rising. Bituach leumi has charged me a debt of 18k shekels to pay back the money they gave to me on my previous unemployment benefits period. We spoke to them, and their is no way of cancelling the debt, we have to pay it. Because of this debt we aren't receiving our monthly kids allowance benefits until it's all payed off.
My wife wasn't able to apply for maternity leave before she gave birth to our son 8 months ago due to her not able to find work for the past 4 years so I was the one working and now we have no way to pay rent and essentials, Our monthly bills are around 10,000₪. We also have our sons formula and he goes through a container a week so we are constantly buying a new container, including constantly buying diapers and wipes for both our kids which adds up. We unfortunately had to move out of our apartment in june because it was too expensive for us and my bank didn't allow me to take a loan out since I'm in the minus. My wife had to take out a loan for the move from her bank account which cost 15k, and interest has risen on it and it's now 16k and we have no way of paying it back. She got a job as a cashier in a supermarket in May, but sadly at the end of August she finished there as they were planning on bumping her down from Full-time to 1 day a week, which is about 4 days a month, and under 1000₪ a month which doesn't pay for anything. She has tried her best to find a job, but no one will take a chance on her. She is also struggling with health issues, and her and her doctors are trying to find out what's going on. I'm applying constantly to jobs, but no one will hire me. I sadly due to my health have been told by my doctor I can't clean anymore or work in a store that's physical work, as I've been to the hospital with overworking my body, or being exposed to cleaning chemicals.
My son is home full-time, and my daughter is in a subsidized government daycare.
We are trying our best, but no one will hire us, and no one wants to help us anymore.
Please help me keep a roof over my families heads and food in their stomachs. We are trying our best, and even when my wife had a job it didn't pay for full rent, food, or bills, so we still had to try find a way to raise around 5000₪ a month to pay for the monthly incoming bills
so we are still pretty much at the same place as when we opened this campaign.
I know that I'm asking for a lot of money but I have no one to ask, the organizations here don't help with that kind of Tzedaka, and have told us they won't help us. So I reach out to you as a support. Please share with anyone you know that can help a struggling family out. Thank you for everything you have given we are very appreciative.
