Burlington Veterans Need Your Help

Hi! I'm Holli and I'm the sexton (office assistant+) for the three city owned cemeteries in Burlington, VT.

One of my many responsibilities is making sure all 1500+ of the veterans buried in our cemeteries receive an American flag on their graves every Memorial Day. The city of Burlington provides funding for this project, but we find ourselves a little short this year. The shortfall is part of a city wide budget deficit we are working to correct, and while it's understandable and there is no blame or ill will, it does leave about 150 veterans without a flag.

I've purchased the flags I need, but I really didn't have the funds to do this out of my own pocket. I'm hoping that people will see the value of this project and help me pay for the final American flags needed so that all our veterans can be honored. Thank you for your consideration!
