My husband, Casey, and I have been through several rounds of fertility treatments in order to fulfill out life long dream of becoming parents. Along the way I have been pregnant with 2 sets of twins and one singleton that all were lost due to miscarriage. Then we got pregnant with the miracle we had been praying for in Raegan Leigh. every time we saw Raegan on uItrasound, her personality shone through, painting a picture of a rambunctious, free spirited little girl.
The first test of strength happened when I was six weeks pregnant with her. I was diagnosed with 4 grapefruit sized ovarian cysts that had to be removed should they rupture that would cause me to miscarry Raegan. With all the risks involved including the very possible reality that we would lose Raegan regardless of the success of the surgery, I had the cysts removed. To our joyful surprise, Raegan came out with flying colors like the fighter she is!
The next milestone came at 14 weeks, when I first felt her kick. This was a reassurance to me of her strength. We monitored her heartbeat daily, always strong. Her strength continued to amaze us. Our families and friends have fallen in love with her!
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, my water broke at just 15 weeks 2 days. Our sweet girl held on for a week. I went into labor on March 23rd, 2020. We rushed to the hospital and our sweet, beautiful baby girl entered the world and immediately went to Heaven at 4:17am. This has been devastating for us and trying to deal with the grief as well as plan burial arrangements is nearly impossible.
The plot for Raegan to be buried in ranges from $600-$1000 and the marker/headstone range from $900-$1300 plus tax Anything helps and we so appreciate all the thoughts, love and well wishes.
