Building Math Confidence in Every Learner

Hello from our K–2 Success classroom in the Tacoma School District! We’re a vibrant, joyful group of young learners with big hearts and unique learning needs. Our classroom serves students with intellectual disabilities and Autism, and we’re working hard every day to build the foundational skills that will set them up for lifelong success.

We’re seeking your support to bring the Early Numeracy Math Curriculum by Dr. Bree Jimenez into our classroom. This curriculum was designed specifically for students with significant learning differences and has been proven—through multiple replication trials—to be highly effective in teaching foundational math concepts like counting, comparing quantities, and early addition skills. It’s hands-on, research-backed, and tailored to meet the diverse needs of our learners.

Most importantly, this curriculum helps create bridges to inclusive opportunities by equipping our students with the confidence and skills they need to participate alongside their general education peers.
