My name is Radha Mehta and I am a 16 year old from the Bay Area. I am extremely passionate about the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, and Quality Education, the 4th SDG, is something that many women in India unfortunately do not have easy access to. To help solve this problem, I am working with Calcutta Foundation to build Kutirs (schools) for women in West Bengal. Calcutta Foundation was founded 25 years ago with the intent to make long term impact for the communities they work with. These Kutirs are life changing as they allow for women to take classes and learn skills they are interested in, and they provide a safe community for them to grow. Our goal is to build another new Kutir for women to feel empowered and confident learning in. Please join us in providing Quality Education for the women in West Bengal!
