Buhurt-Knight in search for armor - your help counts!

Hello everyone!

My name is Anthony, I am 32 years old, and I have been a passionate member of a Buhurt club (Furor Gladii VHGK Ausseerland) for over a year and a half. Buhurt is a full-contact medieval combat sport with real armor, intense physical preparation, and a strong team spirit.

Since I joined a year ago, I have been training almost daily – with whatever I have available. My goal: to finally compete fully equipped in tournaments and fight with my team on both national and international levels.

Unfortunately, I currently lack the financial means to buy my first full set of armor. I work and have family obligations, including alimony – so right now, there is no room for such a large investment.

What I still need:

⚔️ Helmet

Brigandine (Body protection)

Arm and leg protection

The total cost for the full set of equipment is around €2,500–3,000 – depending on the supplier and custom fittings.

I have thought long and hard about whether to take this step, but now I am taking the plunge and asking for your support. Every contribution – big or small – helps bring me a little closer to my dream.

If you don't know Buhurt: It is a combination of historical craftsmanship, true fighting spirit, and genuine camaraderie. Once you've seen or experienced it, you quickly understand the fascination.

Hallo zusammen!

Ich heiße Anthony, bin 32 Jahre alt und seit über eineinhalb Jahren leidenschaftliches Mitglied in einem Buhurt-Verein (Furor Gladii VHGK Ausseerland). Buhurt ist ein Vollkontakt-Mittelalter-Kampfsport mit echter Rüstung, harter körperlicher Vorbereitung und einem unbändigen Teamgeist.

Seit meinem Einstieg vor einem Jahr, trainiere ich fast täglich – mit dem, was mir zur Verfügung steht. Mein Ziel: Endlich vollständig ausgerüstet in Turniere gehen und mit meinem Team auf nationaler und internationaler Ebene kämpfen.

Leider fehlt mir derzeit die finanzielle Möglichkeit, mir meine erste vollständige Rüstung zu leisten. Ich arbeite und bin familiär verpflichtet, unter anderem durch Alimente – daher ist momentan kein Spielraum für diese große Investition.

Die Kosten für die komplette Ausrüstung liegen bei ca. 2.500–3.000 € – je nach Anbieter und Maßanfertigung.

Ich habe lange überlegt, ob ich diesen Schritt gehe, aber jetzt wage ich es und bitte um eure Unterstützung. Jeder Beitrag – ob groß oder klein – hilft mir dabei, meinem Traum ein großes Stück näher zu kommen.

Wenn du Buhurt nicht kennst: Es ist eine Kombination aus historischem Handwerk, ehrlichem Kampfgeist und echter Kameradschaft. Wer es einmal gesehen oder erlebt hat, versteht schnell die Faszination.
