Robert Shaffer was a special 2017 "recruit" and he will continue to be involved with Butler football this season. He has a rare disease; focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, or FSGS, a kidney disease for which there is no cure. He has a rare spirit, too, and it is that spirit that is infusing the Bulldogs Football Team. (From the Indianapolis Star)
