Briones Family Home Lost in Unexpected Fire

In the early hours of October 13, 2020, a fire appeared to have started between Brittney's home and her neighbors'. The fire quickly spread and Brittney, her partner, their young toddler, dog, and cat were forced to quickly evacuate. Once they were at a safe distance, the family stood horrified, watching their beloved home burn before their eyes. 


Unfortunately, renters insurance is not enough to cover their substantial loss. And while some items are salvageable, everything must be professionally cleaned, as the smoke damage is severe; the cost of deep cleaning is exorbitant and will quickly deplete insurance funds. The family of three (plus dog & cat) are now forced to start over, cleaning and acquiring the majority of all the items that make up a home. The unexpected expenses of this tragedy are hefty and will have a huge impact on their family, and their ability to live safely and comfortably in Sonoma County, during what has already been a very difficult year.
