My name is Karen Lippett, and I’m a travel advisor based in Brooklin, Ontario.

Over the years, I have built meaningful connections with the people and communities in Jamaica through my work and personal visits. The recent devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa has touched me deeply, especially knowing families who have lost their homes and belongings overnight.

When Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica, it left a trail of devastation in its wake—homes destroyed, families displaced, and communities shattered. Countless people have lost everything they worked so hard for, facing the harsh reality of starting over just as the holiday season approaches.

This Christmas, we want to stand together and bring light back to those darkest places. Our goal is to help restore hope and make the holiday season truly special for those still struggling to rebuild their lives. Imagine a Christmas where gifts, warm meals, and comfort can bring smiles to children and families who have faced unimaginable loss.
