Hello, my name is Aaron, and I am reaching out for help during the most challenging time of my life. I am the proud father of a wonderful little girl , Alana, who has lived with me for half of her life. I am now fighting to gain full custody of her and need your support to make this possible.
Tragically, Alana’s mother was recently killed in a hit and run car accident (in which Alana witnessed). I was not informed of this devastating news. Instead, Alana’s maternal grandparents filed for emergency custody immediately after her mother’s passing without my knowledge. I was not informed of the emergency custody case or her mother’s passing until weeks later, after googling her and the next day I was formally served for a custody hearing electronically. This has created an unexpected and difficult legal battle. Since her mother's passing, I have not been allowed to see or speak with my daughter, Alana. Despite my request to their lawyer, who assured me he would "try" to set up a call or visitation, it has been over a month with no contact since my request.
As the sole surviving parent, I am determined to provide a stable, loving, and nurturing home for my daughter, where she can continue to thrive and grow. I am looking to raise $30,000 to cover the legal expenses, counseling/therapy for Alana, and to help get my daughter settled in our home. The funds will go towards attorney fees, court costs, and any necessary expenses to ensure that Alana can be returned to a home with her father and feel safe and loved. This process is emotionally and financially overwhelming, and your support will make a world of difference for our family.
