Brad's Road to Rotterdam 2017
Donazione protetta
“If your dreams do not scare you, they are not big enough.”
I am a husband, father and triathlete residing in the Shoalhaven area of New South Wales, Australia. Eight months ago, I embarked on an adventure to teach my three beautiful children that you can achieve your wildest dreams if you work hard and never give up. My dream was to qualify and represent Australia at the Triathlon World Championships in Rotterdam, Netherlands. I can proudly say I have achieved this dream.
I still remember the first triathlon I took part in, in 2006, as if it were yesterday. I had done no training and just signed up for some fun. Little did I know that this would become a life changing moment and the start of my love for this amazingly challenging and rewarding sport. In the last 3 years, my training has become intensive and my passion for the sport has grown tenfold.
I am so excited and hold such pride in being able to represent the Green and Gold on an international stage. I am not one to ask for help, it is not in my nature. Nor is it, in asking for money or donations. My wife and I have always worked hard and used our personal savings to support my passion in this sport. Unfortunately, it is a sport which isn’t cheap.
In September I will be heading to Rotterdam on a once in a lifetime opportunity and it being fully self-funded. I need support with
- flights
-accommodation
-race entry fees
-Insurance
-Team mechanic and doctor contribution
-Team Australia race kit and uniforms from Scody and
-Bike gear
Can you help me get to Rotterdam?
Thank you very much for taking the time to read my campaign and for your support.
