Helping the Haworths

Christine Haworth was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in March of this year. She had a total Mastectomy in May which also led to the removal of all her lymph nodes in her right arm. Since then she has endured chemo, developed Lymphedema in her right arm and had 2 unexpected hospitalizations due to various infections. She has started hormone therapy which will continue for 3-5 years.

 

Prior to her diagnosis, Christine was laid off due to the economic downturn from the COVID crisis. Her unemployment benefits exhausted in September and they have used most of their savings. She has been actively looking for work but has found it difficult between unexpected surgeries, hospital stays, and many medical appointments.

 

Any financial support given to Christine via this fundraiser will go towards their increased medical bills, monthly household bills as well as essential living expenses.
