Booker and Last Hope Need You

Tax deductible
Meet Booker.   This friendly, young dog arrived to Last Hope Animal Rescue a healthy, happy dog.  However, days after he arrived from Kentucky, his temperature spiked to a dangerous 105 degrees and he started vomiting blood.  Without hesitation, we rushed poor Booker to an animal emergency hospital, where he spent the next four days hooked up to an IV, receiving much needed antibiotics to fight a bad infection he had developed from the neuter surgery performed prior to his transport to New York.  He is doing better, but still under observation.

Veterinary bills are Last Hope Animal Rescue's biggest expense.  From the routine to the unexpected, life-threatening emergencies,  we provide the medical care pets need to have healthy, happy lives.  While veterinary care is never cheap, the unexpected emergency situations are extremely costly (like Booker, whose bill to date is $4000).  These emergencies can put a strain on funds that are also needed for the hundreds of other dogs and cats, young and old, that we take in and care for every day.

There is no saying “no” when life-saving  veterinary care is required, because we know all animals all deserve a chance for a healthy life, and hope you feel the same way.  Your kind donation through Go Fund Me will help provide these urgent funds needed to save lives.

Thank you for your support.  Last Hope couldn’t do what we do, without you!
