Help 1,500 Families Rebuild with Healthcare & Hope in Bluefields, Jamaica
Watch Judy Mowatt's personal invitation and see why Bluefields Rising matters.
In Bluefields, Jamaica, families are still recovering from Hurricane Melissa. Homes were damaged, farms were disrupted, fishing equipment was lost, and many residents continue to face barriers to healthcare, food security, and essential services.
But this story is about more than the storm.
It is a story of resilience, hope, and a community determined to rebuild.
Founded by Grammy-nominated reggae icon and humanitarian Judy Mowatt, Judy Mowatt Outreach Ministries (JMOM) has spent years serving vulnerable communities across Jamaica through healthcare outreach, food security initiatives, education, and community development.
On August 22–23, 2026, JMOM, in partnership with International Medical Relief (IMR), will host the inaugural Bluefields Rising Health & Recovery Fair at Belmont Academy in Bluefields, Westmoreland, Jamaica. More than 50 volunteer healthcare professionals, community leaders, and local partners will provide free medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, mental health, and recovery services to more than 1,500 residents.
Because recovery is not just about rebuilding structures—it is about restoring health, renewing livelihoods, and creating opportunities for generations to come.
A Personal Invitation
"For my entire life, I have believed that every community deserves dignity, compassion, and hope. Bluefields is one of those communities. I invite you to join us—not just to provide care for one weekend, but to help create lasting health, opportunity, and hope for generations to come."
— Judy Mowatt
