Blue Roof Indy Vandalism Fund

Over the last 4 years, colleague and friend Kelly Lavengood, has poured her heart and soul into redeveloping the building at the southwest corner of 38th St and Central Avenue. On November 5th, between the hours of 1:40am and 2:07am, someone severely vandalized and damaged the building. Paint was thrown on the tiles of the blue roof, the limestone and sidewalks were spray painted with horrible messages, and rocks were thrown thru the windows. To learn about this has been absolutely heartbreaking. If you know Kelly and her husband Scott, you know that the Blue Roof has been such an important part of their lives. The building was going to house Kelly's independent real estate business, Good Living Indy, as well as offer rental space to other local businesses. Kelly was working to help grow her connection and involvement in the community, something she's always been passionate about.
