Flooding of our Rugby pitches

Storm Ciara over the weekend of February 9th 2020, sent a deluge over our pitches and training ground. The river Wear breaking her banks in the worst flooding for years. 

This has cost us financially, lost revenue from missed games, expenditure on hiring outside training facilities, then the big cash injection needed to repair the best kept pitches in the North. 

We have over 250 Juniors who play and train on these fields, we are determined to raise the estimated £3000 needed to repair and reseed the damaged areas; to support remedial and development work at BARUFC following the flood.
