Bilateral Hip Surgery for Jolene the Pyrenees

We own a hobby farm in NC and are experienced dog fosterers. On 3/29 a stray Great Pyrenees found our farm and needed help. We chased her through our woods for 2 hours, fell in the creek, and were both scratched by thorns until she was exhausted and gave up. She has been safely in our care and seen a vet for a bad limp, her stray hold is up on 4/1 at 2:30. Eventually we had to carry her out of the woods back to our house. She’s been posted on every FB page/website we can find, animal control knows we have her but nobody has claimed her. 

We’ve named her Jolene because she loves John and we love Dolly! She has severe, bilateral hip dysplasia, bad teeth and is not spayed. Jolene needs a bilateral FHO and a spay at minimum. The FHO is about $2000/hip, plus meds and post op visits/rehab. We have spent $381 onher X-rays, rabies, HW test, and pain meds. We’ve also bought a special hip harness, Dasuquin, CBD oil and a ramp to go up/down stairs. 

We are committed to getting Jolene this surgery, but need some support from other dog lovers. Once I have X-rays I can post those, as well as receipts, vet records etc.

Jolene is a typical Pyrenees-loyal, loving and calm. These dogs are truly angels on earth, we own a male Pyrenees who loves her and wants her to feel better so they can play!
