Sometimes life overpowers and directs the outcome of your future. In my case, I was healthy physically and mentally. In one second my whole life changed. I was stricken with Cauda Equina (nerve damage) that resulted impacted my spinal cord and paralyzed me. Due to this I had 2 major surgeries (lower and upper back/neck areas.) The results of these surgeries saved me from permanent paralysis. I am now learning how to walk again and use motor skills in my hands and feet. Compared to most people with this condition I have come along way. I am a fighter and I know long term I will beat this. Unfortunately it has taken a toll on me financially. I have medical bills to pay and I am no longer able to work in my given field. I know this is a temporary set of circumstances. I need to take care of myself and my family.
