Bereavement Leave for Jamie & Jena

Hi, my name is Nicki and I'm Jamie's sister in law and Jenavieve's auntie. On Saturday July 29th, our family got the news that Jena's daddy is no longer with us. Our hearts are broken for every reason under the sun, and especially for Jena. Joff was living in the Northern California/Nevada area and Jena wasn't able to see her daddy as planned when she visited the west coast this summer. No parent plans on navigating these circumstances with their child, yet Jamie has done an incredible job even so. Jamie is self-employed as a mental health therapist and our heart is for her to be financially covered enough to take some time away from work with Jena to grieve however they need to, including out of state travel. These funds are intended to cover all bills for a month, plus a vehicle rental and any room & board needed when they do make their trip back to CA for services, any business related to this loss, family time, or recovery time together in a special place.

As a new CA transplant to TN, our sister and niece aren't yet surrounded by people who could blanket them with support as needed in a time like this. Please help us shower Jamie & Jena in whatever tangible way you can right now, we also have a meal train set up for the next few weeks for TN locals to sign up for here if at all possible: cook a meal for Jamie & Jena. Your love and support whether you are near or far can help lighten the load and give strength for the journey.
