Because we Kear

On April 3, 2016 William and Joanne Kear were tragically killed by a drunk driver. To each other they were Jo and Billy, to their children and spouses, Mom and Dad, their grandchildren Nana and Pop-Pop. The news is devastating to all that knew and loved them. A reminder of how quickly things can change and the impact ones actions can have on the lives of so many. The response to this tragedy was contagious and spread quickly throughout Long Island and the states. What followed was a tremendous outpouring of love and support. The big question everyone is asking is, "how can we help?" This account is designed to provide Jo and Billy's daughters, along with their families the money they will need to fulfill any financial obligations, make donations to organizations that were meaningful to their parents, or best, celebrate the lives of the people they called Mom and Dad in the company of their children in the years to come. Kelly and her sisters are strong, independent women who normally are the helpers and the healers. Today and in the coming months, they need us.
