Beau Dowling is a vibrant, baseball loving, full of life 5 year old who was recently diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. He has already endured an extremely intense treatment course fighting high risk Neuroblastoma, including countless rounds of chemotherapy, 2 stem cell transplants, radiation, immunotherapy and over 2 years of clinical trial treatments, which ended this past March. He beat this awful disease once, and will BEAT IT AGAIN!!!!!
Since his initial diagnosis four years ago, Meg and Jimmy have incurred a significant financial burden as Beau required numerous hospitalizations for surgeries and continuous medical treatments. Sadly, they will now be faced with even more financial challenges as they prepare to fight this terrible disease once again.
As longtime residents of Beverly, the Dowling and Butler families have always given back to our community. They have been helping families for years with the Kevin Dowling Golf Outing and annual Toy Drive. The Blainey Butler Scholarship Fund and Blainey Butler Gives Back Foundation have given multiple high school scholarships and aids families who have experienced unforeseen circumstances.
