For 40 years, Barbara Nash Fenton worked as a speech-language pathologist, dedicating her life to children with special needs. She established herself as a global authority, developing innovative therapeutic practices that transformed her field.
To celebrate Barbara’s remarkable life’s work, and to extend her legacy, we are establishing the Barbara Nash Fenton Centre for Early Childhood Communication. The Centre will answer an unmet need, functioning as an open, accessible primary point-of-contact for parents with concerns about the development of their children’s communication skills. In line with the principles that guided Barbara’s practice, the Centre will focus on serving those most in need, working to transform our collective sense of hope and possibility in the face of adversity.
