Eric and I met in college in 2003, and we both always dreamed of having our own children. In 2008, we got married and our life together has been amazing. Five years ago we decided to start trying for our own family, and after unsucessfully conceiving on our own we found out that there is a chance we may never have our own children.
Eric and I decided that going through hormone treatments and/or IVF was not right for us. Last year we slowly started to think of adopting, and we felt that God was leading us there.
We have made the decision to FINALLY start pursuing adoption, but the financial piece of it is sort of scary. With adoption costs anywhere from $25-30K, and we have been spending the past two years trying to get of our debt (with Dave Ramsey's help!). We are still drowning in school loans, so getting a loan to adopt is not an option nor do we have any money to afford this on our own. We believe that if God is leading us to adopt he will provide the funds for us too.
This is where you come in! Eric and I are creating a 1000 piece puzzle with the bible verse "We prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted us what we asked of him" I Samuel 1:27. For every $10 or more donation, we will write your name(s) or family name on the back of the puzzle piece. Once the puzzle is complete, we will have it framed with double glass and hang it in future baby Dosch's room to always be reminded of who helped us bring a baby home!
