Yesterday April and I went to Remy’s routine appointment and there was no heartbeat.  We sat in disbelief while they confirmed with ultrasounds that our baby girl had passed. 

Baby Remy had a rare condition that came with many outcome possibilities that ranged in severity.  We knew we were facing an uphill battle with this pregnancy and our prayers were for us to have our baby girl and the strength to face any medical conditions as they presented.  We had hoped and prayed for any outcome other than this.  We knew Remy was a blessing to us and we would love her no matter what. 

We thought we were prepared for what might come, but nothing in our dreams for Remy prepared us for this. 

Baby Remy will be put to rest on Friday, October 16th in Wallaceton, Pa at the Reidy Cemetery.  We would appreciate any help to cover the costs associated for her burial and most importantly a headstone to signify she was very much part of our family even if she was taken from us before we were able to know her.  She was wanted and she was loved.

This was a 2nd trimester loss.  It is extremely important to us that Remy is recognized as our baby who deserves a proper burial despite not making it to term.  She was Elijah and Oliver's baby sister, and the baby girl we had always hoped to one day hold in our arms.
