During a routine 9 month checkup, her Dr. felt a lump in her stomach. After sending her to Rochester for tests, Lilliana was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, a cancerous tumor located in her left abdomen. Her cancer is non-operable at this time due to being wrapped around her aorta. She will be having further testing done  to stage the tumor and to help come up with a plan for treatment
 On Monday May, 22nd Lilliana had a surgery to remove one ovary to have frozen in hopes to use the hormones for future use, including maybe having children someday as she will start aggressive chemo on Friday, May 26th. This procedure to freeze the ovary is not covered by insurance do to it being experimental.
  As many of us can imagine the medical costs alone plus the time missed from work from both the parents and grandparents is going to add up very fast.
We would love to raise enough money to eliminate any extra stress Nikki and Adam are going through at this time.
