At just 18 months old, beautiful baby Isla is facing every family’s worst nightmare.
Isla has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain cancer and is fighting for her life.
These are still the early days, and there is a long road ahead for Isla and her family.
To be by Isla’s side, her family has had to leave their home, their jobs, and everything familiar behind to get her the specialist treatment she desperately needs in Brisbane at the Queensland Children’s hospital.
Right now, nothing matters more than getting Isla the care she needs. But the costs are mounting quickly with travel, accommodation, time away from work, and the everyday bills that don’t stop, even when life has been turned completely upside down.
This is a critical time for Isla and her family, and they need our support now more than ever.
We have created this fundraiser to help ease the financial burden and allow Isla’s family to focus entirely on what matters most: being by her side, advocating for her, and getting her the treatment and care she needs.
Every single donation, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference at a time when it is needed most. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this page. A share costs nothing, but it could reach the person who is able to make all the difference.
Myself (Phoebe), alongside Isla's closest family and friends, have organised this Gofundme on behalf of Isla's family, particularly her mum and primary carer, Alex.
Every donation made for Isla's care and to help support the family's expenses will be deposited directly into the family's bank account, ensuring the funds go straight to where they are needed most.
Thank you for standing alongside Isla and her family during what is undoubtedly the most frightening chapter of their lives. No family should have to face something like this alone. Let’s surround them with the love, strength, and support they need to get through the difficult days ahead.
With heartfelt gratitude
It takes a village, and Isla needs hers now.
