Help the Chicago Chess Center move to our new home

The Chicago Chess Center is a non-profit organization in the Loop of Chicago, Illinois. We have grown a lot over the past years. Starting out as many chess centers do, by bouncing from one location to the other to host chess tournaments for the Chicago/Illinois community. With the success of our tournaments and support from our members, we found a location in the South Loop of Chicago in 2022. Today, we have grown to host tournaments with over 80 players entering weekly.

Our mission has always been to make the sport of chess available to everyone. We do our best to make our tournaments and lessons affordable and inclusive, and try to give a little back to the chess-loving community in Chicago by lending chess supplies and offering low-cost options to our low-income members.

Why we need your help:

We are moving to a new location in the Loop of Chicago, 166 W Washington. This move will strain us financially, but we believe this new location will allow us to grow in the direction of our mission. Please consider donating, as this is a non-profit organization, powered by the generosity and support for chess from our donors and supporters.

Your donation will help us:
  • Pay for the costs of moving and cleaning.
  • Fund supplies such as chairs, tables, and other amenities.
  • Help us cover rent as we transition into this new location.

Any amount helps, we thank you, and hope to see you soon.
