After I lost my brother and 40 family members due to the war in Gaza , help me to evacuate my injured family members to safety.

My name is Yousef, A senior medical student from Gaza City (Palestine) but I'm expatriate and now studyingin Egypt.

I survived five attacks on Gaza by the Israeli occupation, the last of which was in 2021, but I'm currently residing outside it to study, but my direct family are stuck there.

The campaign will be to pay the travel fees of Rafah land crossing of family members who injured to complete their rehabilitation and recovery phase in safety.

During the current war in Gaza, my family was displaced 5 times after destroyed our house. While I was following the news as usual on the live broadcast cameras located in Nasser hospitals, suddenly without warning, I was surprised by wael eldadouh conducting an article with my 8-year-old little sister Hala, full of blood and dust from the effects of rubble, and crying from fear. He was saying that she was the only survivor of her family who had arrived.

 They were just taken to the emergency department and they were lying on the ground, all of them injured. I was holding the phone and my body was trembling in fear for them. I don’t know how a person would act in a horrific situation like this and bear the trauma that happened at that time and the feeling of helplessness.

The place where my family took refuge in the south was bombed, and after a communications blackouts, I learned that I lost my brother Mohammed is a software engineer, whose graduation ceremony we were waiting for several months later. He was hit directly in the head, an injury that claimed his life. All members of my family were injured, and my sister Hala, was injured in her head and shocked by her fear of the explosion that occurred. It happened and it was like hell. My father ( A pediatric doctor ) was exposed to fractures in his ribs and abrasions all over his body, and my older brother Tareq is a biomedical engineer, was injured and severely fractured in his spine, lower ribs, and scapula bone. The rest of my family was exposed to wounds and bombing.

On other side of Gaza in North my grandfather house where most of our family members were was bombing and We lost 30 of them, and there are injured who don't find any treatment, and we fear that we will lose them as well.

Currently, I have reached a point where I feel despair, but I have a great responsibility towards my family, and my only dream is to reunite with my family again. I write this after a lot of thought and hesitation, because nothing can compensate for our loss, but we are forced to continue life despite its cruelty and the urgent need to save my family. I strongly request your generous support to help me evacuate my family from the Gaza war. because there is no safe place in Gaza due to slow deaths due to hunger, drought, displacement, spread of diseases and constant bombing.

Even the Nasser hospital was bombed while they are there for first aid. I'm looking forward to paying the costs of my family’s travel from the city so that they can be in a safe place next to me for their treatment, as I cannot bear the loss of another one of them or the harm that may befall them, and to experience another trauma.

The end of 2024 was supposed to be the most beautiful year in which we would celebrate my brother and I’s graduation from the College of Medicine and Engineering, but because of the war, I lost my brother, my relatives, and my friends, and we lost our own house after it was bombed, and we lost our places of work, our sources of livelihood, and everything. It turned into rubble and became ash .
