Many of you have met Scout's Dad, Michael Sowder; though most of us know him as Spike. Spike is, quite possibly, THE most hard-working man in the great state of Texas and has provided his son, Scout, with a foundation of values based on faith, integrity and reverence. Though they have been faced with adversity in more ways than one, together they have grown as a family with a reputation for helping others in the community; and now it has come time to help them.
Scout has been given an amazing opportunity in being accepted at San Marcos Academy this year. However, enrollment and tuition fees are building up quickly, and the payments are more than the family can handle. Mandatory school supplies, alone, exceed more than what Spike and Scout can afford. This educational opportunity can provide an incredible difference in Scout's future, but he needs our help in order to fulfill the financial requirements.
