El lunes 19 de abril de 2021, Delfino Aparicio-López conducía en New Brunswick haciendo su trabajo como taxista. Mientras llevaba a alguien, se encontró en medio de un tiroteo donde una bala perdida lo alcanzó y acabó con su vida.
Mi padre era un hombre amable, abnegado y trabajador. Siempre estuvo allí para apoyar y ayudar a su familia, amigos, y su comunidad desde cientos de kilómetros de distancia. Deja atrás a sus cuatro hijos y a su otra mitad, Reyna. Aunque su vida termino muy temprano, pudo lograr unas de las muchas cosas que se propuso hacer: vivir honestamente y dar a sus hijos una mejor oportunidad en la vida de la que tenia el.
Mi familia está recolectando fondos para ayudar a cubrir los gastos del funeral, el transporte de sus restos a Oaxaca, México y para ayudar con lo que podamos necesitar mientras salimos adelante.
On Monday, April 19, 2021, Delfino Aparicio-López was driving in New Brunswick doing his job as a taxi driver. While giving someone a ride, he found himself in the middle of a shootout where a stray bullet struck him and ended his life.
My father was a kind, selfless and hardworking man. He was always there to support and help his family, friends, and his community from hundreds of miles away. He leaves behind his four children and his other half, Reyna. Although his life was cut short, he was able to accomplish some of the many things he set out to do: live honestly and give his children a better chance at life than he had.
My family is collecting funds to help cover the cost of funeral expenses, transportation of his remains to Oaxaca, Mexico and to help with what we may need while we grieve his loss.
