Hello, I’m Mary. My husband has been living in the United States for over 10 years. He is a loving, hardworking father to our three children, aged 17, 12, and 24 months. We have been fighting for his freedom for seven months now; my children are suffering and crying—they miss their father terribly and feel insecure and heartbroken. During his time in detention, he has been rushed to the hospital four times due to his health issues; he suffers from heart problems—having experienced three pre-heart attacks—as well as diabetes and high blood pressure. He also experiences numbness in half of his head and his left arm, accompanied by intense pain. While at the Delaney Hall Detention Center, his health issues persist; he urgently needs his medication and medical monitoring, but these facilities do not administer the correct medications and do not allow his own medication to be brought in. Our greatest fear is that his condition will worsen and he will end up like some other detainees there who have tragically passed away.

That is our deepest concern and source of desperation. Please help us raise funds for legal expenses and help my family secure his freedom and his return home, so he can reunite with his children and get the medical treatment he needs. We don't want to end up like other families torn apart and devastated; there are three children who need him.
