Ayub Ali Fundraiser

Ayub Ali is a recent 5th grade graduate from Countryside Elementary School. Ayub has Astrocytoma which is a type of brain tumor. This past spring Ayub's brain tumor began to bleed onto his brain. He was admitted to the hospital and a shunt was inserted to stop the bleeding. He was in the ICU for a time but is now home. He is taking numerous medications, has a nasojejunal (through the nose) feeding tube to help deliver the nutrients he needs and is starting chemotherapy.
As you can imagine Ayub's condition is an emotional and monetary strain on the family. His mom Faduma (a single mother) had to leave her job at Sam's Club to help take care of Ayub. His sister Amira, going into 4th Grade at Countryside, has special needs as well. This is a very painful time for Ayub's family and I know our Countryside family can help.
Money to help pay for medical and household needs is their greatest need right now.  Anything you can give would be helpful! And I'm sure feeling all the love from our community will help lift Ayub's spirits as well.
