Austin Tolley's Road to Recovery
Doação protegida
Update:: 7/20/23
My brother still has a very long road to recovery. He has currently had 4 surgeries and will have a 5th one tomorrow morning on his jaw.
Austin is still very sedated and has TBI in several spots of his brain. He has been a true fighter through all of this for the last 9 days and continues to be strong!
He has so many friends and family that we want to thank for all the love and support that we have all been given over the last week and a half! The power of prayer is absolutely amazing!
Please continue to pray for him and my family as this has been a very tough time for all of us. The donations are truly so very appreciated from the bottom of our hearts!♥️
On July Tuesday July 11th, Austin Tolley, our loving and caring son & brother, was in a very serious motorcycle accident and was life-flighted to Greenville Memorial Hospital where he will be for several weeks until he is able to recover enough from the surgeries he will be undergoing. He is in stable condition, but endured SO much trauma and has a very long recovery ahead of him. We are looking to raise money for Austin's medical bills and also to support his daughter as he will be out of work for quite a while. He will be in a wheelchair for 3 months minimum. Any donations to Austin during this time would be greatly appreciated.
Austin most importantly is the most amazing dad to his 3 year old daughter that is his pride and joy. His world revolves around her! Anyone who knows Austin knows that his daughter is his world and that he would do anything for her. Their bond is like no other. If you know Austin, you also know that he is an amazing person and makes friends with anyone he encounters. He will help ANYONE in need and is always a call away for any of his family or friends. He is a very family oriented person and very close to all of his family, so you can imagine how hard it has been for all of us, especially his daughter since she hasn't been able to see yet him due to the severity of his injuries.
As stated above Austin is currently stable, but he has lots of physical trauma. His body is covered in cuts, bruises, and severe road rash. He has been on an intubated ventilator since admission to the hospital Tuesday night, but we have hopes that it will be removed within a few days. He is currently on a feeding tube that may possibly have to remain until after his jaw heals. His leg is broken in multiple places including his tibia, fibula, knee, ankle and heel. Austin had one surgery on Wednesday July 12th, he is having one today July 14th, and will undergo a 3rd surgery as well. He also has a severe jaw fracture (will require surgery), spinal, and cervical spine(neck) fractures. We are not yet sure if his spinal & cervical spine fractures will require surgery.
We greatly appreciate any donations to Austin and the many prayers! We thank all of his/our friends and family that have been reaching out to us and praying for him during this time! The prayers are absolutely working!
With sincere gratitude,
The Keith/Tolley(Stephenson/Marshall) Family
