We are devastated by the tragic loss of one of our own. On 25May19, Augie Gonzalez and two of his children passed away in a car accident during his family’s PCS to Fort Carson.
Augie was a larger than life person. Most of us knew Augie as the Ranger leader who mentored others and devoted his life to our Nation. But mostly importantly, Augie was a great father and husband. He was compassionate and thrived off of being around others. Thousands were impacted by him and his family. We love you and are here for Melissa and the boys. Take care Augie, you and the girls will be with us forever.
