Cabo! My first family vacation with my husband and 15 month old daughter. We went with my parents and my brothers to a wonderful resort! I was feeling tired and went to the resort clinic. The doctor on staff took a blood test and was concerned because my red blood cells were super low. She sent me to a hospital in Cabo San Lucas. They ran blood tests and gave me the diagnosis of leukemia. They didn’t have the ability to treat me there so they arranged for a life flight to San Diego, CA. I live in WA state... The medical staff in San Diego kept my blood as healthy as possible so that I could be life flighted to a hospital in Seattle, WA. Both life flights were not covered by insurance and had to be paid for out of pocket. I just graduated from graduate school and have a very young child. I will be out of work for quite some time. Please help me support my family while I go through chemo treatment! I appreciate any help you can provide me and my family!
