Friday night our beloved mother in law and the rock of our family Sandra “Sam” Mankowski was airlifted to Spectrum Health Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids. She is in ICU currently and her medical team is working as hard as they can to keep her stable. Once her vitals are more stable she will need surgery for her lung which separated from her chest wall and ruptured, It is no longer able to keep air. Along with that she has some
bleeding going on internally and that will be addressed as a separate issue. All funds raised will be to cover her husbands Ralph’s stay down here in Grand Rapids and beyond that their household bills as he is unable to work at this time. Next would be assisting her medical expenses. Sam has five boys, and five daughter in laws, and countless grand babies that care for her and need her here with us. She is a mother figure  to everyone she meets and if you’ve been blessed to know her you know this is true. Please lift her and our family in your thoughts, prayers and well wishes at this difficult time.
