Our dear friend and colleague, Sonia, was recently admitted to the Toronto General Hospital in the Cardiology department and is awaiting a Heart Transplant. 

This young lady has been through so much in her short life.  She had heart surgery when she was very young and has been in and out of the hospital with various health issues over the years.  

Sonia is such a happy and positive person who has a heart of gold.  She is married to a wonderful man, Ryan, who has been such an amazing support to Sonia. Sadly, Sonia and Ryan had a premature little girl that tragically passed away as an infant, but Ryan and Sonia  have two lovely young boys.

Sonia’s heart is failing her now and her husband has had to take a leave of absence from his employment to take care of their children.  The funds that we can raise today and for the next few months will help ease some of the financial burden that this young family is enduring.  Please donate what you can as every little bit will help. 

Our hope is that with the right treatment, a supportive community, family, and friends, along with the power of prayer, faith, and consistent encouragement, that Sonia will once again reclaim her health, happiness, and life.
