Assist with Karen Wilson's Cremation Expenses

My name is Jason Mahoney. My mother, Karen Wilson, passed away on her road trip from Carson City, NV, to Oxford, AL, to come live with me. She was 71 years old and passed away in the Nye County Jail. She stopped at a hotel in Tonopah, NV, called the Dream Inn. During her stay, she had fallen in the parking lot of the hotel. The management of the hotel called an ambulance to her, and she apparently told the medical team she would be OK. Later that night, the manager of Dream Inn kicked her off the property because she turned down the medical services that had been called to aid her. My mother refused to leave, so the motel staff called the sheriff's department and had her arrested for trespassing. Later that night, she passed away in the custody of the Nye County Sheriff's Department.

I have spent what savings I had to purchase a plane ticket, rent a car, and cover the inbound and storage fees to get her car and personal belongings, as well as the gas money to drive back from Nevada to Alabama. So, I'm asking for some help to cover the cost of my mother's cremation. The cheapest I have found is $1800 at a place in Washoe County, Nevada. Her body is at the Washoe County Medical Examiner's in Reno, NV. My mother passed away on the 8th day of June 2025, and I have 30 days from June 9th to come up with the funds to cremate her.
