I am doing this for one of my closest friends kids. They recently found out that their mom has incurable leukemia. The drs are saying she probably only has 2 weeks to live. Her blood count 2 days ago was 7.5 it’s supposed to be 20.

The family as a whole for over a year now has been living in a motel because they were evicted from their last house. I know there’s hard times everywhere. This woman did foster care and adopted all 5 of her kids. I have known her for over 25 years, my kids call her Grandma Carol. She’s like a mother to me.

Since the eviction and hard times there’s no money and her life insurance lapsed. The kids have been calling around for prices on cremation and it’s going to cost anywhere from $900-4500. They don’t have that kind of money. She has a burial plot already because unfortunately after her only blood related child died suddenly 23 years ago.

She just wants to be cremated and buried with her daughter. That also costs $600.

I am just trying to make sure that her kids get a chance to bury their mom. If you can’t donate then please share share share this.
